Choose Open PDF or drop one PDF into the workspace. Wait for its page thumbnails to load.
Use Custom Select and click the thumbnails you want to keep. To divide the entire document into consecutive groups, choose Fixed Range and enter a number in Split by every.
In Custom Select, choose Extract to one PDF to keep the selected pages together, or Extract individually (ZIP) for separate one-page PDFs. Fixed Range always produces a ZIP of PDF groups.
Use the download button. If you receive a ZIP file, extract it to access the PDFs. Check page numbers and contents before sharing.
Open the document, choose Custom Select, and click thumbnails 1, 4, and 7. Select Extract to one PDF and download. The output contains those three pages in their original order. To remove a blank page instead, select every page you want to keep and leave the blank page unselected.
Choose Fixed Range and set Split by every to 1. A ten-page document produces ten one-page PDFs inside a ZIP file. Set the number to 2 to get five two-page PDFs. When the total is not divisible by the group size, the final file contains the remaining pages: an eleven-page PDF split every two pages produces six files.
Use this free PDF splitter when your task is to extract pages, remove whole pages, or separate a document into files. Use Merge PDF to reorder pages or combine documents. Changing words, annotating a page, and signing a form require other editing features; this splitter does not provide them. PDF to Word can extract selectable text for editing in a word processor.

A document with fewer pages may be smaller, but splitting does not compress images or guarantee a particular file size. Check each exported file if you need to meet an attachment limit.
The tool copies PDF pages without rasterizing them. Check forms, bookmarks, and digital signatures separately because creating a new document may change their behavior. Keep your original file.
Password protection, a damaged file, or insufficient browser memory can prevent processing. Use an unprotected copy you are authorized to access and try a smaller document if memory is limited.
