Choosing the right File Viewers
Someone sends you a file and you do not have the program to open it. Installing software for a one-off look is slow, and most online viewers want you to upload the file to their server first.
These viewers open the file directly in your browser. They show the content and the details that matter, such as a 3D model's size and volume or a spreadsheet's rows and columns, and most can convert to a more common format. Because nothing is uploaded, they are safe for contracts, customer data, unreleased designs and anything else you would rather keep to yourself.

Are my files uploaded?
No. Each viewer reads the file with JavaScript in your browser. Nothing is sent to a server, and the viewers keep working offline once the page has loaded.
Is there a file size limit?
Only your device's memory. Because files are not uploaded, large files open as fast as your computer can read them.
Can I convert files as well as view them?
Most viewers can export to a more common format, for example a 3D model to STL or GLB, so you can use the file elsewhere.
