A quick guide
Choosing the right Device Tests
When a call starts and nobody can hear you, or a key stops working, you need an answer in seconds. These tests show exactly what your computer receives from each device: microphone level and noise, camera resolution and frame rate, every key and mouse button, controller sticks and drift, speaker channels and your screen's pixels and refresh rate.
Many device-test sites ask for camera and microphone access on pages full of ads and trackers. Here, every stream is processed by your own browser and nothing is recorded on a server, so you can test before an interview, exam or meeting without handing over your audio or video.
Digital ToolPad brings together 13 free Device Tests in one collection. Open a tool, add your input, and review the result on your device. All tool processing happens in your browser, without uploading your data to our servers for processing.
Are these device tests private?
Yes. Camera, microphone, keyboard and mouse input are processed by your browser on your device. Nothing is uploaded or recorded on a server, and any test clip you record stays in the tab unless you save it.
Do I need to install anything?
No. The tests use standard browser features such as getUserMedia, the Gamepad API and Web Audio, and work in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari on desktop and mobile.
Why does my browser ask for permission?
Browsers protect cameras and microphones behind a permission prompt. Allow access to run the test; you can revoke it any time from the address bar.
