What is a countdown to a date?
A date countdown shows how long is left until a moment you choose, such as a birthday, wedding, holiday, exam, product launch or the last day of school. Enter a name, a date and a time and this page counts down live in days, hours, minutes and seconds, with sleeps, weeks, weekdays and weekends left. Copy the share link to send the same countdown to friends; the details travel in the link itself, so nothing is stored on a server.
How to make a countdown to a date
- Type a name for your event.
- Choose the date and, optionally, the time.
- Watch the live countdown and the sleeps, weeks and weekdays left.

How do I count down to a specific date?
Enter the event name, date and time at the top. The countdown starts immediately and updates every second.

Can I share my countdown?
