Card 1 of 30Set TPBI-NGO1
30 cards, 15 pages plus caller sheet. Set TPBI-NGO1.
Play on phones
Send each player a link to their own card. They tap squares to mark them, and the card shows BINGO when a line is done. The card is rebuilt from the link on their phone, so nothing is stored online. Call the game from the Caller tab and check winners by card number.
What is a custom bingo card maker?
A custom bingo card maker builds cards from your own list instead of numbers. Type or paste one item per line (vocabulary words, gift ideas, names of colleagues, things that happen in every meeting, or emoji for children who cannot read yet) and the maker shuffles them into a different card for every player. The caller then draws items from the same list. It is the quickest way to make classroom review games, icebreakers, shower games and themed party bingo without designing each card in a template editor.
How to make custom bingo cards
- Choose Words & emoji, then type or paste your items, one per line. Or load a ready list such as Find someone who, Christmas or baby shower gifts.
- Pick a 3x3, 4x4 or 5x5 grid, a title, a free space label and a colour theme.
- Set the number of cards and check the preview. Duplicate lines are removed for you.
- Download the PDF or Print, or copy phone links so each player opens their own card.
Why make custom bingo cards here
- Any words, phrases or emojiUp to 500 items of up to 60 characters. Long phrases shrink to fit and emoji print in colour.
- Every card is differentEach card is checked against the rest of the set before it is added, so no two players hold the same card. Cards are numbered and carry a set code.
- Ten colour themesClassic, Christmas, autumn, midnight gold, baby pastel and more, plus an ink saver theme for black and white printers.
- Print or play on phonesSend each player a link to their own card. They tap squares to mark them, and the card says BINGO when a line is complete.
- Print-ready PDFSharp vector PDF for US Letter or A4 with 1, 2 or 4 cards per page and an optional caller sheet. No watermark and no sign-up.
- Private and freeCards are made in your browser. Your words, cards and game stay on your device, and there is no account, limit or paywall.
Ideas for custom bingo
- Human bingo icebreaker. Find someone who has a pet, speaks three languages or can juggle. Guests collect names in each square.
- Vocabulary and review games. Put the answers on the cards and read out the questions or definitions.
- Meeting and video call bingo. You are on mute, frozen video, dog barking: play along during an all-hands.
- Road trip and travel bingo. Red car, cow, bridge, gas station: an emoji list works for children who cannot read yet.
- Book club and TV show bingo. Plot twists, catchphrases and characters for a watch party or season finale.
- Showers and weddings. Gift bingo, guess-the-guest bingo and wedding reception bingo with your own items.
How many words do you need?
- 5x5 with a free space needs at least 24 items, 5x5 without one needs 25, 4x4 needs 16 and 3x3 needs 8 (with a free space) or 9.
- For a fair game, list about twice as many items as squares. With exactly 24 items every card has the same words and many players win on the same call.
- Keep items short: two or three words read best from across a room. Phrases of up to 60 characters still fit by shrinking.
- For question and answer bingo, put the answers on the cards and keep the questions on your caller sheet.
Bingo rules and winning patterns
Every player gets a different card. The caller draws numbers or words one at a time and players mark them when they appear on their card. The first player to complete the agreed pattern shouts BINGO, the caller checks the card against the calls, and the round ends. Agree the pattern and the prizes before the first call.
- Any line
- A full row, column or diagonal. The free space counts. The usual first prize.
- Four corners
- The four corner squares. Quick to explain, a little slower to win than a line.
- Blackout (cover all)
- Every square on the card. Usually the last and biggest prize of the night.
- Two lines or X
- Agree it before the game and check it by eye; the caller checks lines, corners and blackout for you.
What is on a 75-ball bingo card?
The standard American bingo card is a 5x5 grid. Each column takes its numbers from its own range of 15, which is how a caller can say "N 42" and players know where to look. With the free space there are 24 numbers on a card, and 552,446,474,061,128,648,601,600,000 possible different cards, so a generator never runs out. On 3x3 and 4x4 cards this tool keeps the same idea: 15 numbers per column, so 1 to 45 and 1 to 60.
| Column | Numbers | Squares |
|---|---|---|
| B | 1 to 15 | 5 |
| I | 16 to 30 | 5 |
| N | 31 to 45 | 4 + free space |
| G | 46 to 60 | 5 |
| O | 61 to 75 | 5 |

Example: a human bingo icebreaker for a new class
Load the Find someone who list (30 prompts), keep 5x5 with a free space, set 28 cards for 28 students and choose 2 per page. Students walk around and write a classmate's name in each square that matches them. The first to fill a line shouts bingo. Swap in your own prompts to fit your school or team.
What to expect from the result
Cards use the American 75-ball format (or 15 numbers per column on smaller grids). UK 90-ball tickets, pictures from your own image files and online multiplayer rooms with a shared live board are not included. Emoji print in colour from browsers that can draw colour emoji, which covers current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox.
Custom Bingo Card Maker questions
Can I make bingo cards with my own words?
Yes. Choose Words & emoji and type or paste one item per line. The maker removes duplicates, shuffles the items into unique cards and uses the same list for the caller.
Can I use emoji or pictures on bingo cards?
You can use any emoji, and they print in colour in the PDF. Adding your own photos or clip art is not supported yet, so for picture bingo use emoji such as the Christmas pictures list.
How many bingo cards can I make?
Up to 1,000 cards in one set. For word bingo you need at least as many different items as there are squares: 24 for a 5x5 card with a free space, 15 for 4x4 and 8 for 3x3. Add more items than that and the cards will differ more.
Are all the bingo cards different?
Yes. Every new card is compared with the cards already in the set and replaced if it matches one, so each player gets a different card. Each set has a code, and the same code with the same settings always rebuilds the same cards.
Are my bingo cards or word lists stored online?
No. The cards are generated in your browser and the PDF is built on your device. Your settings and the game in progress are saved in this browser only, so you can close the tab and carry on later. Nothing is sent to our server.
