Card 1 of 30Set TPBI-NGO1

30 cards, 15 pages plus caller sheet. Set TPBI-NGO1.

Play on phones

Send each player a link to their own card. They tap squares to mark them, and the card shows BINGO when a line is done. The card is rebuilt from the link on their phone, so nothing is stored online. Call the game from the Caller tab and check winners by card number.

Free printable Thanksgiving bingo

Thanksgiving bingo keeps everyone busy while the turkey rests. The cards hold Thanksgiving words such as turkey, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, parade and wishbone, and the caller reads them out one at a time. It works as a quiet game for children before dinner, a classroom activity in November or a Friendsgiving party game with a few adult twists. Make one different card per guest, change any word, choose the autumn theme and print the set on Letter or A4.

How to play Thanksgiving bingo

  1. The Thanksgiving list and autumn theme are loaded. Edit the words or add family names.
  2. Pick 5x5 for adults, 3x3 or 4x4 for young children, and set one card per guest.
  3. Download the PDF or Print. Use candy corn, dried beans or corn kernels as markers.
  4. Call the words from the Caller tab. The first line wins, then play on for blackout.

Thanksgiving bingo ideas

  • The kids table. A 3x3 or 4x4 card keeps young children busy before dinner.
  • November classrooms. Vocabulary practice with seasonal words and a class set of different cards.
  • Friendsgiving. Swap in grown-up items: someone mentions politics, a dish is burned, the dog steals food.
  • Parade and football bingo. Mark balloons, floats, touchdowns and commercials while watching on TV.

Thanksgiving bingo tips

  • Give a small prize for each line and save the last slice of pie for the blackout winner.
  • Ask players to say one thing they are thankful for when they mark the word Thankful.
  • For mixed ages, print 3x3 cards for little ones and 5x5 for everyone else from the same word list, so they can all play the same calls.

Bingo rules and winning patterns

Every player gets a different card. The caller draws numbers or words one at a time and players mark them when they appear on their card. The first player to complete the agreed pattern shouts BINGO, the caller checks the card against the calls, and the round ends. Agree the pattern and the prizes before the first call.

Any line
A full row, column or diagonal. The free space counts. The usual first prize.
Four corners
The four corner squares. Quick to explain, a little slower to win than a line.
Blackout (cover all)
Every square on the card. Usually the last and biggest prize of the night.
Two lines or X
Agree it before the game and check it by eye; the caller checks lines, corners and blackout for you.

What is on a 75-ball bingo card?

The standard American bingo card is a 5x5 grid. Each column takes its numbers from its own range of 15, which is how a caller can say "N 42" and players know where to look. With the free space there are 24 numbers on a card, and 552,446,474,061,128,648,601,600,000 possible different cards, so a generator never runs out. On 3x3 and 4x4 cards this tool keeps the same idea: 15 numbers per column, so 1 to 45 and 1 to 60.

Example: Thanksgiving bingo for 12 family members

Keep the Thanksgiving list, choose 5x5 with a free space, set 14 cards and 2 per page. Print 7 pages, hand out the cards with a bowl of candy corn and call the words from a phone. Two cards are spares for late guests.

What to expect from the result

Cards use the American 75-ball format (or 15 numbers per column on smaller grids). UK 90-ball tickets, pictures from your own image files and online multiplayer rooms with a shared live board are not included. Emoji print in colour from browsers that can draw colour emoji, which covers current Chrome, Edge, Safari and Firefox.

Thanksgiving Bingo Cards questions

How do you play Thanksgiving bingo?

Each player gets a different card filled with Thanksgiving words. The caller reads one word at a time and players cover it if it is on their card. The first to complete a row, column or diagonal says BINGO.

Are these Thanksgiving bingo cards free?

Yes. Print as many as you need for family, friends or a classroom, with no sign-up.

Can I make Thanksgiving bingo for adults?

Yes. Edit the list with grown-up items, such as someone falls asleep on the couch or the gravy runs out, and play on paper or phones.

Are all the bingo cards different?

Yes. Every new card is compared with the cards already in the set and replaced if it matches one, so each player gets a different card. Each set has a code, and the same code with the same settings always rebuilds the same cards.

How do I print the bingo cards?

Choose 1, 2 or 4 cards per page and Letter or A4, then select Download PDF or Print. In the print dialog choose Actual size or 100% so the cards are not shrunk. One card per page is best for seniors and young children, four per page saves paper.
