Tips for the most realistic handwritten look
- Keep natural variation between 40 and 70. Too little looks like a font, and too much looks messy.
- Match line spacing to the ruled lines: with the default font size, 55–62 sits naturally on notebook paper.
- Use blue or dark-blue ink with the ruled notebook, and pencil with grid paper for maths or diagrams.
- A slant of 3–6 degrees makes cursive styles look faster and more natural.
- Turn on the scanned-page effect when the result will be shared as an image or PDF rather than printed.
- Press New variation until the letters you care about most, such as a name or a heading, look just right.
