What is a Christmas list maker?
A Christmas list maker is a simple tool for writing down the gifts you would like this Christmas and getting that list to the people who ask for it. Instead of a note on your phone or a scrap of paper, each gift gets its own line with a link to the product, the price, notes such as size and color, and how much you want it. This one also has a second mode for the other side of Christmas: a gift planner where you list the people you are buying for, set a budget for each, and track every present from idea to bought, wrapped and given. Everything runs in your browser and stays on your device.
How to make a Christmas list
- Type your name and give the list a title. Add a short note for family if you like, for example where to find your sizes.
- Add each gift on its own line. Paste a product link, add the price, and use the notes for size, color, model or store.
- Set a priority: Top wish, Would love or Nice to have. Drag gifts by the handle to reorder them, or press Sort by priority.
- Press Download PDF or Print for a festive printable list, or Create share link to send a read-only copy by text, chat or email.
- Switch to Gift planner to plan the presents you are giving, with a budget per person and a status for every gift.

Tips for a Christmas list people can actually use
- Give a range of prices. A few small gifts make it easy for cousins, coworkers and kids to join in.
- Be specific where it matters: size, color, model number, edition or the store. Leave it open where you are happy with anything.
- Mark only two or three gifts as Top wish so the people buying know what matters most.
- Add experiences and consumables (a day out, a class, coffee beans) for people who say you already have everything.
- Share one link with the whole family and send a new one if the list changes.

Emma adds six gifts: a chunky knit sweater (size M, forest green or cream, $45, Top wish), wireless earbuds ($79, Top wish), a flower building set ($60), fuzzy slippers (size 8, $25), the next book in her series ($18) and a day out together with no price. The list shows six gifts with a total of $227 for the five priced ones. She creates a share link and posts it in the family chat, and prints a copy for her grandmother, who prefers paper.
What to expect from the result
Share links are read-only snapshots, so make a new link after changes. Because nothing is stored online, there is no shared "claimed" status between family members: ticks on a shared list are saved on the viewer’s device only. Lists are saved in this browser, so clearing site data removes them; keep a PDF if you need a backup. The PDF uses standard fonts, so emoji are left out.

Yes. Open the page and start typing. Your list is saved in this browser automatically, so you can close the tab and come back later on the same device.
How do I share my Christmas list with family?
Press Create share link, then copy it or use Share to send it by WhatsApp, iMessage, email or any chat. Whoever opens the link sees a read-only copy of your list with links, sizes and prices. They do not need an account or an app. If you change your list later, make a new link, because old links keep the old version.
Can I print my Christmas list?
Yes. Download PDF creates a print-ready list on US Letter or A4 with checkboxes, priority stars, notes, clickable links and the total. Print sends the same PDF straight to your printer. You can add blank lines for gifts you want to write in by hand.
Can I make lists for more than one person?
Yes. Press New list to start another one, for example one per child, and switch between them with the Your lists menu. Each list prints and shares on its own.
Is my list stored online?
No. Your lists and gift plan are saved in this browser’s local storage on your device, so they are still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to our server. A share link carries a copy of the list inside the link itself, after the # sign, which browsers do not send to websites.
