A printable Christmas list template you can type into
Most Christmas list templates are fixed PDFs: you print them and write everything by hand, and if you change your mind you print another. This template works the other way round. You type your gifts on screen with notes, prices and priority, choose how many blank lines to leave for handwritten extras, and the PDF is drawn on your device in a second. You get a clean, festive page with checkboxes, priority stars and a total, on US Letter or A4. Leave every line blank and it doubles as a blank printable Christmas list for kids or a classroom.
How to use the Christmas list template
- Type a title and your name, or clear them for a blank template.
- Add the gifts you already know, with optional notes and prices. Remove the example gifts with the bin icon or press Clear list.
- Under Blank lines, choose how many empty lines to add at the end for writing by hand.
- Pick US Letter or A4, then press Download PDF or Print.
- Print a few copies for the kids, or keep the PDF on your phone for shopping.

Getting a good printout
- US Letter is the default for the United States and Canada; choose A4 for the UK, Europe, Australia and most other countries.
- Print at 100% or Actual size so the checkboxes and lines are not shrunk.
- Long lists flow onto extra pages automatically, with the festive stripe on every page.
- For a fully blank template, clear the list, delete the title and choose 10 blank lines.
- Emoji are not supported by the PDF fonts; use words instead (for example "star" rather than an emoji).

Example: a half-filled list for the fridge
A parent types six gifts their daughter has already asked for, keeps the priority stars, chooses 6 blank lines and A4 paper, and presses Print. The page shows the six gifts with checkboxes, stars and a total of $227, followed by six empty lines for the gifts she adds in pen during December.
What to expect from the result
The template has one festive design with a red and green stripe, rather than dozens of decorative styles. The PDF uses standard fonts that cover English and Western European characters; emoji and some other alphabets are left out. Your list is saved in this browser only, so keep the PDF if you want a copy elsewhere.
