A Christmas wish list you can share in one link
A Christmas wish list tells the people who buy for you exactly what you would love this year. This wish list maker lets you add gifts from any shop by pasting the product link, then add the price, the size or color you need, and a priority so the most wanted gifts stand out. When it is ready, press Create share link. The whole list is packed into the link itself, so family can open it on any device without signing up, and nothing is stored on our server. They can tick off what they buy on their own device or copy your wishes into their own gift planner.
How to make and share a Christmas wish list
- Add your name and a title, for example "Emma’s Christmas wish list".
- For each wish, type the gift and paste the product link from any store. Add the price and any size, color or model in the notes.
- Choose Top wish, Would love or Nice to have, and drag the most important wishes to the top.
- Press Create share link, then Copy link or Share, and send it to family by text, WhatsApp, iMessage or email.
- Update the list any time on this device and send a fresh link when you add new wishes.
Why use this christmas wish list maker
- Nobody needs an accountWish list apps make everyone register. Here you share a link and it simply opens, on any phone or computer.
- Links from any storeAmazon, Target, Etsy, a small local shop: paste the link and family lands on the exact product.
- Priorities and notesThree priority levels and notes for size and color mean fewer returns and fewer "which one did you mean?" texts.
- Viewer tools built inPeople opening your list can tick off what they bought (on their device), print it, or add it to their own gift planner.
Common uses
- Teens and adults. Share one wish list with parents, partners and relatives instead of answering the same question all December.
- Couples and new in-laws. Give your partner’s family a clear list with sizes and links so they are not guessing.
- Kids’ wish lists. Parents can keep a wish list per child and send each one to grandparents and godparents.
- Office gift exchanges. Pair it with a Secret Santa draw: everyone shares a wish list link with their Secret Santa.
How the share link works
- The link contains a compressed copy of your list after the # sign. Browsers do not send that part to web servers, so the list never reaches ours.
- A typical list of 10 to 20 wishes makes a link short enough for any chat app. Very long product links make the link longer; the tool warns you if it gets long.
- Links are snapshots. If you change your list, press Make a new link and send that one.
- Anyone with the link can read the list, so share it only with people you want to see it.
- Viewers can tick items as bought on their own device. Those ticks are private to them and not shown to you, which keeps the surprise.

Example: one link for the whole family
Sam adds eight wishes, pasting links from three different stores, and marks a jacket and a pair of running shoes as Top wish with sizes in the notes. Sam taps Share and sends the link to the family chat. Sam’s aunt opens it on her phone, ticks the running shoes after ordering them and presses Add to my gift planner, which copies Sam’s wishes into her own planner as gift ideas with prices.
What to expect from the result
Because there is no server, family members cannot see what others have already bought. Ticks are saved on each viewer’s device only, so agree in your family chat who buys what for big items. The link holds a copy of the list as it was when you made it. Very long lists with many long links can exceed the link size the tool allows; remove some links or share the PDF instead.
Christmas Wish List Maker questions
What is the best free Christmas wish list maker?
For most people the best one is the one family can open without signing up. This wish list maker is free, has no account for you or for them, works with links from any store and also prints a PDF.
How do I share my Christmas list with family?
Press Create share link, then copy it or use Share to send it by WhatsApp, iMessage, email or any chat. Whoever opens the link sees a read-only copy of your list with links, sizes and prices. They do not need an account or an app. If you change your list later, make a new link, because old links keep the old version.
Can I add gifts from any store?
Yes. Paste any product link from any shop. The link shows as the store name on your list and opens the product in a new tab. Only normal web links (https) are accepted.
Can family mark gifts as bought?
They can tick gifts on a shared list, and the ticks are saved on their own device, so you do not see them and the surprise is kept. Because nothing is stored online, ticks are not shared between relatives.
Can I make a Christmas wish list for my kids?
Yes. Make one list per child with New list. For younger kids, switch the style to Letter to Santa for a printable Dear Santa letter.
Is my list stored online?
No. Your lists and gift plan are saved in this browser’s local storage on your device, so they are still there when you come back. Nothing is sent to our server. A share link carries a copy of the list inside the link itself, after the # sign, which browsers do not send to websites.
